ECI LOST IT DIGNITY

Election Commission of India – Guardian of Democracy or Partner of Power?
Friends, Greetings.
As I promised you, we will discuss each topic in detail to save Indian democracy.
Today, we will discuss the Election Commission of India, an institution that once exemplified impartiality but today appears to be dancing to the tunes of the ruling party.
The first blow came when the Chief Justice of India was removed from the Election Commissioner Selection Committee.
This was the moment when the backbone of democracy was struck, so that the government could appoint its favorites to the Election Commission.
Today, the situation is such that only officials close to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hold special positions within the Commission.
The sanctity of the vote is being attacked, and collusion echoes in the temple of democracy.
The Election Commission’s role no longer seems to be that of a “guardian of the people,” but rather that of a “spokesperson of the government.”
This is why every opposition party and every conscious citizen is asking, “Are “free and fair elections” still possible in India?”
This isn’t vote theft, it’s the murder of the very soul of democracy. This series is a call to action. Democracy will survive only if elections are fair.
