Saudi Arabia has unveiled plans for the NEOM Sky Stadium, the world’s first elevated arena, suspended 1,150 feet (350 meters) above the desert in the futuristic city of The Line within the $500 billion NEOM project. This 46,000-seat venue, powered entirely by solar and wind energy, will host matches up to the quarterfinals of the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Construction starts in 2027, targeting completion by 2032, aligning with Vision 2030’s innovation push. Access via high-speed elevators promises stunning aerial views.
